Microsoft Outlook Express (97 & Lower)
Step 1:
First, open Outlook Express. Locate and click on the "Tools" menu and select the menu option "Accounts".
Step 2:
In the Internet Connection Wizard window, select "I will establish my Internet connection manually".
Step 3:
In the Internet Accounts window, click on the "Mail" tab then on the "Add" button.
Step 4:
Type your "Display Name" - this will be the name that appears as the Sender of e-mail from this account.
Step 5:
Enter your full 5 Star Internet e-mail address (i.e., johndoe@5starinternet.com).
Step 6:
Your 5 Star Internet mail server is a POP3 server. Be sure to set the "My incoming mail server..." option accordingly.
Incoming mail server... type mail.5starinternet.com as shown.
Outgoing mail server... type mail.5starinternet.com as shown.
Step 7:
POP Account name: type your 5 Star Internet e-mail account name.
Password: type your 5 Star Internet e-mail account password - your password is case sensitive and will appear encrypted.
Step 8:
In the "Internet mail account name" field, type "5 Star Internet".
Your 5 Star Internet e-mail setup is now complete!
